I noticed the stringers under the cabin starts closest to the cabin door, are rotted and the fiberglass is pulled away from the hull. These seem to be 1 inch wide by 2 feet long. Has anyone ever dealt with these and provide advise or photos?

Thanks!

They're fiberglass over foam so actually not rot, but done very cheaply. Mine had very thin glass w/ poor resin wet-out. So once the foam got wet, the glass up-took the moisture and was "rotted". I dried mine out, sanded, and used the existing rib as a mold to glass over. Now it is properly rigid. If yours is really a soggy mess you could cut the whole rib out. Use a multi tool w the diamond cutter.

Great thanks! I got in and looked at it and noticed it was foam. I noticed the hull has a dent in that area from where it sits on the trailer. Hopefully not a big deal. Thanks again!

Just make sure that when you fix this, you lift the boat or otherwise get that "dent" popped out so that the new stringer doesn't make it permanent.
