If you are still looking for a sail try Bacons in Annapolis they have an extensive collection of used sails and know boats so they won't sell you one that has the right dimension but has or lacks other properties needed to make it right for your boat. They can also modify them if need be.

I picked up a new job that had been miscut for someone else for my 30 that was great for me. There on line site has a listing but keep in mind it is some times a little behind inventory so a call is worthwhile to.

Hunter Std Chesapeake Bay
Hello,
I am the proud owner of a 1978 Hunter 25 Cherubini. I bought it last May and was pretty hard on the poor old thing sailing from Delaware City, DE to Pocomoke City, MD and back north again to Taylor Island, MD. I now need to replace ALL of the cabin cushions, V-berth cushions, as well as find a mainsail for it. Can anyone tell me where or who may be able to help in these areas?

Thanks!
Just got a '76 Hunter Cherubini also needing main sail and cushions. Both look like originals. Tore up the (thin) main sailing across the Chesapeake Bay last Thursday. Strong winds. Ended up motoring with an old (?) 7.5 HP Honda 4 stroke.
Please let me know how you make out with the cushions. Mine are threadbare, literally.

I was able to drive to Taylor Island yesterday to make sure the measurements I had gotten for the idea I have for new cushions fit but thankfully they were a little too big. One of these days I'm going to bring my tools back over and cut them to fit. Taking my old mainsail to New Jersey on Friday to get a new one. I'll let you know how it goes. ?

Hey Hurricane, stupid question: are you sure that is a 1978 or could it possibly be a 1977 titled as a '78? As I recall the trunk cabin and deck were altered for the '78 model year; I could be wrong and so hence my question! Or; in other words, could you share your hull number? BTW congratulations on: 1. getting a nice boat for yourself; 2. surviving at least part of the ICW without going hard aground, which is perhaps the greater accomplishment ;) About the site, here: we're all here to help each other. Or, in other words, the only question too foolish to ask is the one you're too foolish to ask.
I think you may be right DianaOfBurlington. I got this after I had already left my boat yesterday but I hope to be able to get the hull number (hopefully I remember to do so) next trip over.
