1978 23' O"Day toilet system replacement

I recently purchased a 1978 23' O'Day fixer upper. I noticed that the toilet has a system that permits waste to be pumped out the bottom of the boat. I want to convert it to a holding tank that can be pumped out.

Has someone done something like this before? If so could you point me to the products needed and share your experience.

Porta Potty

The original head in my boat was removed by a Previous Owner. I just use a porta poty. If you look on this site they have some very nice Porta Potys that can be plumbed in if that is your preferance.

I use a MSD porta potty that ties into the pumpout fittings on the deck. It's a nice option, although the design of the Dometic sold here is such that the uptake tube does not extend to the bottom of the holding tank, which means you can never get everything pumped out. It's not a huge deal, but a little annoying.
