I would have posted this to the Pearson forum, but, could not select it. I know I can measure this, but, I am not at my boat right now. Does anyone know the bridge clearance for a 1976 Pearson?

Thanks,
Scott Vickery

Scott, I Googled Pearson 28, and couldn't find the specs, but if you know the IJPE dimensions, you could figure it out. You could also simply scale a side shot knowing the 28 foot length and figure out the mast height.

Don't know if you have a Triton or a later P28.

I stumbled across the Triton website, and found some very interesting material from 1969 that is fun reading and still valid today:

I'd guess 40 feet. :)

Thanks for the replies. From the Yahoo group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/p28forum/) I got this quote "The owners manual in the Files section of this website lists the mast above the water line as 42'4"". So, I will call it 43. I guess I barely squeaked under the Oriental bridge when the gauge said 44.
