1976 Javelin Mast troubles

Just recently purchased a 76 Javelin in very good condition. However, after trailering it home today, noticed that the fitting at the bottom of the mast that clips into the tabernacle must have somehow rattled off in transit. None too pleased by this. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement part for this? Thus far I have only found the entire tabernacle on DRMarine. It's $80. Any suggestions on where to find just the piece that I need?

But, it also might be worth giving Rudy Nickerson at D&R a call, he may have an extra partial mast hinge that he will sell..... never hurts to ask! Calling Rudy can be a real great source of O'DAY info, and sometimes great ideas to fix/upgrade your boat. D&R has e-mail but Rudy usually will answer right away (or his Wife will!) if you call on the phone (508) 644-3001. Again no promises, but if you give him a phone call, Rudy may be more than willing to sell you just the parts you are missing for that mast hinge/tabernacle. When the self-bailer on my DS II broke, I was able to get just the part that broke, instead of having to buy a total new unit.
