After a 32 year love affair with my Cherubini Hunter, my only complaint (worry) is the centerboard pennant coming through the hose connector in the bilge. I have added layers of hose and 5200;but being an old worrier I still think about it and would be interested in others thoughts and solutions - Thanks

Have you considered a delrin bushing?

They wear like almost no wear at all. Very tough, excellant bearing material, not too expensive. Generally good stuff.
