I have adopted a 1972 Ranger 29. I was looking for an owner's manual, or any helpful documentation of that sort, but all the old posts regarding such have links that are now, apparently, gone the way if The Titanic!

I had a Ranger 29 for several years back in the 90's. The manual wasn't much. And it didn't need to be. The boat was pretty simple. I'll search my 'puter to see if I scanned any of it but I prolly didn't have a scanner then.Do you have a specific question?

Thanks for responding! I'm sure I will have questions, I'll be interested to see how people have solved problems, or have come up with clever modifications. I just got the boat, and for example, today I was trying to get at the Universal Atomic 4, and realized that serviceability wasn't on the "A" list of concerns... Tentatively, it looks like you can get to most of it with some effort, but some of it looks like the only way to get at it effectively would entail deconstructing the galley's countertos, etc.

Access to the engine is challenging. If I were to rebuild the carb or fuel pump again I would probably cut an access hole from the 1/4 berth. Doing it blindly from in front of the engine practically left me in tears. The distributer could be accessed from the Lazerette, although I couldn't do that now at my stage of flexibility.
