19-2 Axel

Well, in the process of bringing home my new to me Hunter 19-2 the axel pick it's moment to break. Before setting out of how I did buy new tires and have the bearings re-packed. Unfortunately, there was a weak point in the axel that finally gave up.

The trailer is the original from 1993. Is there any information on the trailer available in order for me to find a new axel as a replacement? I don't think welding the rusty axel is an option.

Trailer axles are generally off the shelf items, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a replacement. But you will need information about axle width (length), rated load, spring mounts, etc.
