170 cracked warranty hull

Looking for repair guidance for a crack in a 170 warranty replacement hull. I May remember wrong but weren’t these warranty replacement hullmade of a slightly different material ?
Anyway, a very significant crack developed over the winter, even thou it was stored inside an un heated shed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LOTS of threads at this forum dealing with cracks in the H170 hulls. I used to have one and had to deal with them as well.

Fiberglass, epoxy, and other standard solutions don't work due to fact that the hulls on the pre-2005 models were made from Luran, a plastic. The only dependable fix is to use Plexus, a 2-part methacrylate adhesive.

The very first thing you need to do is drill a 1/8 inch hole at the end of each crack about a quarter inch deep to stop the crack from spreading. Take a few more pictures and post them here to get a better idea of what you have
