It seems like my centerboard has too much play. When I pulled it out and took it apart, all the pieces seem to be in great shape, but I was surprised that the large female pin that goes inside the bushing is 1/8 inch wider than the centerboard. Can anyone tell me for sure if this is how it was originally designed? Took the boat out for the first time yesterday, and while becalmed the centerboard, which was all the way down, banged from side to side. I appreciate any help.
