ok after reading the manual from ray marine i still dont have a clue what size conductors , breakers and fuses to use to power this up ...the chart they have is very confusing so i am at the mercy of my SBO techs ...what are the sizes i need to do this it is only a 5 ft run round trip ...also i have a grounding wire lug to connect to the battery/buss and am using #10 wire for this...is that correct or do i not use it ....its a wheel pilot 60st system.....thanks in advance for the reply's....

A 12 gauge stranded wire should be plenty for the wheel pilot.
Lee
thanks Lee...would I use a 20 amp breaker on that set up.... the manual is all over the board with there info...it also has a extra ground wire that is to be installed to the battery ground/buss ground ...i guess that is to ground the whole controller to bat ground......

Woody, all said is true. Yes you need that separate #10 for the case ground, and 12 will run it. A twenty amp breaker is a little large I would think. Five will pull it, but a ten would be better. Essentially it is just protecting your wire run, the computer is fused inside.
