I just purchased a used 1999 Hunter 310 and there are several lights burnt out in the saloon. Not sure how to access the bulbs for replacement.

We have the small round dome lights...

throughout our boat. Removing the three screws that mount the fixture I believe gives you access to the bulb. You may have to remove the three lens screws as well. I've repaired the switches in ours but have never replaced a bulb. Terry

Too easy

On our 380 (Year 2000) we wanted lower wattage so it could be more mellow in the stateroom and over the dining table. Our lights have flat round glass lenses inside a smooth round plastic outer "ring that has no apparent screw holes or clips or anything. On ours the ring is actually a friction fit and pops off. I pry it a little away from the headliner with a razor knife and then insert a flat screw driver to avoid buggering up the edge. They pop off.

Giggle the switch

I have small round lights with a little toggle switch on my 2004 36. I think they are Swedish. Three out of the four light switches have failed and the lights don't turn on reliably. Hunter is replacing them. Why does marine equipment cost so much and fail so frequently? Kevin
