12v fuel pump

Anybody have or installed a 12v electric fuel pump on there yanmar diesel.My previous boat had one that made changing filters etc a snap.any suggestions on specific pumps.I was checking out the Facet cube solid state for around $60.

I have one in line for years, wired so as to use just for maintenance.

Wire a plain doorbell pushbutton switch from the positive buss to the pump. With the pushbutton in a convenient location, it's a lot easier to bleed than flipping a remote switch on and off.

Years ago I put in a generic Airtex #E8012S electric fuel pump from Auto Zone. It worked very well

The PO put one in mine and disabled, for whatever reason, the mechanical pump. I am thinking of reestablishing the mechanical pump and using a dual system that can be switched as needed. I have not drawn out the plumbing or wiring for it yet.
