I'd like to do away with the manual cable to shut down the fuel supply to my Yanmar engine. Has anyone rigged up a 12 volt solenoid to do this? I'd like some advice on how to do it and where to get the needed supplies please. Thank you in advance!

i put a Trombetta p610-b5v12 solenoid on my 2gm20f and it works great look up

my panel came with the stop button...but you can use a starter push button ...it is called a momentary contact button Cole Hersee has them in their catalogue and i am sure you can find one that will work at the marine store in your area
