11 meter manual bilge

S2 11 meter elk rapids, mi
my electric bilge pump just went out and while waiting to get it replaced I found it difficult (impossible actually) to find and use the manual bilge pump on my 11 meter. Any help would be appreciated.

On my 9.2A there is a plastic cover on the port side aft. It is about six inches long and it covers the slot that the handle fits in for the pump. If I recall correctly.

It's on the stbd side of cockpit close to the wheel under the plastic cover. You should see the cover and the bolt heads. The handle is "usually" clipped in the stbd lazarette. If you have to replace or service it, you have to go in from the aft locker in the quarter berth and over the little bulkhead. (1979) It's a little challenging on the back but can be done.
