It seems these folks are really missing the boat with this stuff, if they don't have a drop in display for replacing the ST-60 wind display.

Not really because it works with NMEA 2000 instruments from Garmin, Furuno, B&G, Simrad as well as the Raymarine iSeries. You could also buy a DSM 150 display too. It will also display on any current plotter screen... The old "proprietary" ST-60's are essentially buggy whips these days compared to N2K...
