I'm in the process of refurbishing an O'Day 22. I'm considering insulating the interior with ¼ inch Styrofoam. What are the advantages or drawbacks to doing this?

Question 1: Could someone post a picture of how the Canopy is held up or connected to the boat. Question 2: most all of the flotation was bad or already removed. How much and where should I add flotation?
