Hello all! I am looking to add a hatch to the foredeck of my 1974 Widgeon. I was wondering if there was any experience with this modification? For the life of me I can't seem to find any record online of such a thing. With that, I was wondering what the inboard side of the foredeck looks like...

The boat Im looking to purchase has "elevated" moisture in the foredeck. Is this something I need to worry about and get fixed. What is the O'Day core made of?

Hi All... planning a few spring projects here... bow cleats and pulpit are loose on the foredeck, which means they're leaking... so I'm thinking they come off, carve out the rotted wood, fill with glass, re-drill, rebed etc... maybe add backing plates (yes I've read the write-ups on how to do it...
