26x rigging

We just bought a 2001 Macgregor 26X swing keel. It was changed over to an M sail and rigging. Someing happened to the mast so we need to figure best way for future use. Have the M rigging but could revert back to the X if we want. Any opinions? Trying to figure out the best solution since we are...
