I know I am really stretching for info on this older unit. I have a code HPF which started flashing on the control unit when the sea strainer got clogged.

I cleaned the screen and put back together, but still getting the code and no cooling. I also noticed, I am seawater pump is not activating and there is no power for the pump in the Electronic Box Enclosure (Pump L-2)

Is there a reset button or a breaker which needs to be reset?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. .

Absent info on the brand and model, it’s hard to guess. Operating and install manuals are generally easy to find on the internet once you determine which one you have.

Based only on your description, if there is power at the circulation pump and it doesn’t energize, you might have burned it out. If there is a reset button, it would be on the control board. There is almost certainly a 120v breaker to power the compressor and pump.

I don't know that particular system, but typically there is a safety shutdown mounted on the top of the compressor shell. The shutdown would usually be called a "Klixon" and is usually designed to re-set itself after a trip, although some do have a "push-to-reset" button. It may be malfunctioning; stuck open. It is usually inside a guard ; the attached picture shows it on top of the compressor.

This is most likely not the problem because when the thermostat calls for the unit to run, It usually turns on the water pump and fan .. then after a time delay of a few seconds, it turns on the compressor. Ya may want to check the settings to make sure that the pump is being commanded on .. If you have not, ya might try turning off the breaker at the panel and leaving it off a minute or so .. then back on to reboot the controller.. Good Luck!

Yes, I would think I would be getting 110v at L2 as soon as I turned on the unit, but am not. Did not know if there was a breaker somewhere else, although the fan unit comes on when the unit it turned on. Thank you for the info you did provide.
