Das sind Teakleisten, die aufgeklebt, dann mit Schwarzer Masse ausgegossen und geschliffen wurden. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu.....

New Shackles & Toggle Pins: The roller furling worked more smoothly when I changed the OEM shackles. Also replaced the clevis pin and split ring with a spring toggle pin at the bottom of the drum to allow quicker attachment when bending on the forestay.

Close Up of my outhaul (version 3) - I think I have it right now. I didn't want to install an internal clew outhaul as illustrated in the H15 manual because I had 'foamed' the boom along with the mast to help prevent turning turtle if/when I lay her down in a gust. There isn't much room between the clew and the end of the boom saddle and therefore to get some mechanical advantage I had to mount a second block, a cheek block, on the side of the boom and lead the line through a fairlead jamcleat.

I love the boomkicker! Makes it so much easier to set up and your toes don't get crushed by the boom when you drop the mainsail.
