    Thanks for your perspective Solstice lam struggling with the extra 50 k for a boat that yes is 7 years newer but very close to the same thing. What about sail performance?

    Oh one other question what is non- zero boats ? Are you referring to the naming 350 320 310 etc. To the 355 455?

    I went from a 30 O'day to a 42 Catalina. I am not finding it that hard.. I am frustrated with the response in tight quarters. I could sail my 30 around a beer can. With the 42 I am screaming in my head...TURN! TURN!

    When we went from a Catalina 25 to a Beneteau 40 we chartered, it felt like we were driving an Aircraft Carrier, than we went back to our 25 sold it and bought our 310, again driving the aircraft carrier, but the longer you play with it the better you get, Well I feel I could even drive the Enterprise now!!! ;), well almost...
