Oh one other question what is non- zero boats ? Are you referring to the naming 350 320 310 etc. To the 355 455?

I went from a 30 O'day to a 42 Catalina. I am not finding it that hard.. I am frustrated with the response in tight quarters. I could sail my 30 around a beer can. With the 42 I am screaming in my head...TURN! TURN!

When we went from a Catalina 25 to a Beneteau 40 we chartered, it felt like we were driving an Aircraft Carrier, than we went back to our 25 sold it and bought our 310, again driving the aircraft carrier, but the longer you play with it the better you get, Well I feel I could even drive the Enterprise now!!! ;), well almost...

I see from his profile that @Bob S made the jump all the way to a Beneteau 393! So much for caution. Congratulations and I hope you're enjoying the new ride.

Missed the last couple of comments. Yes we made a big jump. I love the boat. It actually handle quite well. The Max Prop reduced the amount of prop wash I had with the C30. Best of all I don't have to coax the wife to due a 10 day cruise anymore. She looks forward to going out. She loves the Pullman birth and forward head. With 120 gal of water she can take a longer shower although I still complain about conserving. I am happy with my choice. Thanks for all your comments.

I like the OLD line, "Show me a pullman car full of union soldiers,
and I'll show you "the berth of the blues".

Good on you, Bob, Well played, you are going to name it after her, right ? That way it's always "YOUR boat needs new halyards, etc."

We were on a boat based out of la Paz that had the head all the way forward with a (mostly) square bed and private stateroom aft of it. It was real roomy and was about 1/3 the size of the boat. I don’t remember the exact model but I’m pretty sure it was about a 40ft Catalina. I wish I could remember the model cause it was nice.
