I ran the wire alongside the bimini support tube initially with zip ties. The second year (as the zipties failed) I used a couple bands of silicon "rescue tape" which has last several seasons.
Eventually I may need to replace the wire due to uv exposure but so far there is no evidence of problems, and the wire is pretty inexpensive if and when that time arrives.
