Catalina 34 Casco Bay
Hope this helps others: My Catalina 34 has zippers thru the isinglass to extend the traveler sheets into the cockpit. Problematic when the main needs to be eased quickly. Trying to release was an issue. So, a machine shop took 2 SS 3/8 rod and treaded 3" on one end and welded plates on the other the plates are just big enough to support a cam cleat. Drilled thru the traveler and bolted the rods. Cam cleats are now inside the dodger and afford immediate and easy sheet control.

Way to think outside the box, but inside the dodger.
Yes, pictures would be great.
Thanks.

Dan, here's what I did with my B323 so I would not have to go through the dodger

- especially the glass. I took the cam cleat off the end of the travelers, re-routed the traveler line on both ends, led the line through a spare line organizer, then under the dodger to a couple line stoppers I added in line with the OEM stoppers. Some 323s have the cam cleat on the cabintop, where there are two dinples to locate it.
