I have a 1986 Pearson 39-2. Plastic companionway trim (strip everyone must walk across going in or out of CW) is shot. Any ideas on how to fabricate a simple replacement?

Do not know what a “Plastic Companionway Trim” looks like. Any shots of the shot trim piece?

Blindly thinking, how about starboard. Cut using a template of the “shot” piece.

I have the same issue. Duct tape is holding it together for now. My thought is to glue the pieces back in (again) and then break a strip of SS trim to go over with countersunk screws, top and inside to hold in place. It hasn't made it to the top of the list yet.

Could anyone show a picture of it! It would help to make it easier to offer good advice. Thanks Capt. Rob Stargazer II
