this one.

small, all metal, so harder to damage. good for skiffs.
-I assume its for the dingy, otherwise get the larger clear bottom racor type.
Not for the dinghy, auxilary is an outboard...
EDIT, just noticed it says for engines with high working fuel pressures, which does not include outboards, they have very low fuel pressure (negative pressure in fact). not sure if this would work....
is this the one you mean?

It says that it's for outboards only, inboards must use the metal bowl. I am installing the filter inside the lazerette near the tank, so I assume that falls under the same classification as an inboard?

I'd suggest the Unikas fuel filter for that.
hmm, looks like a good option, only concern is the same as mentioned above, the racor description says you're required to use a metal bowl for inboard installs, and I expect my install will be considered an inboard for that purpose.
maybe I could install the filter where the old tank resides now, that would be an external install and certainly apply the same requirements as any other outboard. That also allows me to safely drain the bowl without venting fuel into the lazerette, and easily check the filter while under way.
The fuel line already passes through into the lazerette from the tank on it's way to the engine, so I would only need to add a route from the new tank, and can reuse the old routing.
Ok, Pros and Cons of the two filters listed?
