Pulling my 23.5 out this weekend and likely wont be able to spray off bottom. Any issues if the crud on the bottom dries? I do have 1 yr old bottom paint.

pressure wash it as soon as you can. i used this stuff, http://www.franmar.com/, and it worked great. slap it on thick, cover it with saran wrap, let it sit for 3-5 hours and scrape off the paint. you will have to do it twice for the entire boat, but it really minimized the sanding.

I don't think it will hurt the boat, but I will make it a lot tougher to get off later if you want to clean it before you put it back in the water.

You know, it could be more likely to take off additional paint compared to scraping it while wet. I'd try to do something real quick..... You don't have to pressure wash it, just scrape it with a plastic putty knife would be better than nothing.

Hey brown dog. There's a pump up and high pressure wash in dry storage shed. Have you pulled yet? It's suppose to be warmer this week.

Are you a salt water boat or fresh water? If fresh it won't be much of a problem unless you are in a mussel area.

You mentioned bottom paint of one year only and want to pull it out to clean. You advised pulling it out. Not sure of other circumstances.

If you are in a warm area and going into the water is not an issue, then go swimming and take a sponge and a mop to clean the bottom off. Do not use a brush as it will take paint off. If you have zebra mussels or barnacles, then power wash at low pressure quickly before the hull dries with scraping using a paint scraper or somehting like that only. Placing the boat on the trailer will create a few issues as the centerboad is in the CB trunk housing and getting up there will be harder as you will have to crawl underneath and clean which can be messy if it gets on you.

There is a product that basically is a sponge which has some flotation and a long handle which will clean the hull of a boat. Not sure if it works that great but I do not know the name of it. Ok guys, do you know the name of this product?

When describing an issue, it would be more helpful where the location of the boat is and a little more detailed information would be very helpful when trying to respond would be greatly appreciated.
