My favorite imports are the Greeks...the best people!

I told them that my next sailing trip I would like to do a bareboat charter around Greece and they all told me that since I'm in the region should also consider Turkey.

Any feedback about sailing around Greece and Turkey would be welcome.

Also, would Thanksgiving be the best time to be in Turkey...?

Thanks.

Mmmm, Turkey.
I think with the Greek economy you might get a deal on a charter company!

Ducati, my wife n I have bare boated in Greece numerous times, several times in the Dodecanese, very near Turkey. We LOVE the Dodecanese. As for Turkey, a good friend, who,s been with us on our Greeek trips, has also done Turkey a few times Androcles it as well. The Turks and the Greeks do NOT get along, so sailing from one to the other will be tricky at best. Check with the charter company.

I'm happy to give you all the info I can, best on Monday when I'm back at work. Reply or pm me with any questions.

Ducati,

My wife received an e-mail from this outfit yesterday. Thought I'd pass on their website. Give them a look, as they say they do Greece, Turkey and Croatia.

Good luck and keep us updated. We love being jealous of people! ;-)
