So, am I just not doing a proper search? Surely, more than two people have purchased the Sunsure Cockpit Cushions offered on this site. I'm looking for reviews... comfort, durability, quality, etc.

Thanks in advance..

i did purchase a whole set of cushions for my hunter off this web.....since there new I cant comment on durabality..........but I can comment on the service........................

I spoke to dave and he took me through the proceeder and was very helpful in ordering my custom cushions for my hunter.....the quality is industry standard or better........and to be honest I could not find a better price....

as for comfort.....I am comfortable anywhere, there is no need to have second thoughts :)

I've used both Bottomsiders and Sunsure cushions over the years. On my last boat, I ordered the Sunsure cushions. I was pleased with the quality and the durability of the cushions. When I sold the boat and bought the next boat, I decided to give the Bottomsiders a try. I've been happy with the Bottomsiders as well.

Both sets were bought through this website. i got great customer service on both orders, and the cushions were both a good quality. Of the two, I like the Bottomsiders a little more, but it is just a personal taste thing.

We started off with C-Cushions on our 272 LE....we loved them, but over about 13 years they deteoriated and needed repair....discovered the repair was going to cost more than a new set of sunsure cushions...so we ordered; again for the O'Day 272. They said they had the pattern(s), but I also wanted a cushion for the bridge deck and so I drew that pattern and sent the dimensions....then, when the new cushions arrived, the cushions for the
cockpit sides were one inch too wide, so I sent them back....this was because their pattern ignored the 1 inch chamfer on the top of the cockpit seats, so they cut into the back of our legs...when they came back, they had cut 1/2 inch off the the width, but they are still 1/2 too wide.....that is the bad news.

I would send them a pattern right off the bat if doing it again....The good
news is they wear very well, they are easy to clean and just seem tough as boots so other than the minor misfit, I think they are a great product for the money....thinking about this, when they give you a quote, ask them if they will use your dimensions or their dimensions as the cost may not be the same. Are they both about the same firmness? I'm leaning toward the Sunsure as I hate sticking to cushions and it seems this may be less of a problem with the woven fabric. Wife is concerned the closed cell cushions may be too firm... she's used to the standard soft (but soggy when wet) Catalina cushions...

I feel the 2" closed cell foam is to firm. Yes it's better than the hard glass seats but I can through a folded beach towel down and be softer. When we get new Cushions they will not be Closed cell.

Speaking of cushions... for the Bottomsiders, what do people use to clean them?

I truthfully believe the sunsure are a little more comfortable and although I'm not sure one would describe them as soft, they are quite comfortable and do not make your leg's sweat on hot summer days....the most comfortable were the C-Cushions, but boy are they expensive.... when we ordered the
sunsure, we ordered white with red seam all around...they are really good looking.
