Can anyone identify this class of boat?

A friend of mine builds and details replica scale boats. I was at his place today to see some of his work and the detail is amazing!

Anyhow, during this time he asked me to help identify the class of boat in the pic below. What you are looking at is from a mold made of another that he had detailed for another friend of his.

The model is 4 1/4 inches LOA and is 1/120 scale - so about 40 feet long.

Any help/ideas appreciated.

Well it could be, although the pilot house windows look to be a bit different (more angle on the real on than the replica)...but very close.

What's funny is that when I was first looking at he model I thought it looked familiar and couldn't figure out why. Seeing your pics I know. My brother has Brewer 42 on the Sunshine Coast and we were out there on it just 2-3 mths ago! His is aluminum but same design and layout inside.

Thanks. Other suggestions on what the replica is welcome but this may well be it!

Seeing it is a bilge keeler, my guess would be a European or UK design. Very popular over there but not sure why they are not liked on this side of the pond.

Since nobody seems to recognize that boat, 4.25 inches at 1:120 works out to 42.5 feet.. so if you have some time to kill, you could go over to www.sailboatdata.com, search for boats between 41 and 43 feet (or expand it if you like) and then dig through the results to see if one matches.
