Since I am nowhere near by boat and need the zincs changed does anybody know which ones are required on a 1982 Catalina 30 ?
Every Catalina 30 I have ever dived in my 18 years in the biz has had a 1" shaft. Have never, ever seen any Catalina with a 7/8" shaft diameter.Lost Parent,
We have a 1" shaft on our 1981 Catalina, I believe a 7/8" shaft was also used if I remember reading this somewhere. Hope this helps.

That's crazy. Your Hunter also has a 1" shaft and possibly a strut zinc, which would undoubtedly be the "R-2" size. This is not going to ever change, so why would you have to bring a selection of zincs each time you dive your boat?I dive my boat to clean and change Zincs but have mad mistakes a few times going to the boat and dive under and than out I have the wrong size.
So what I do now is is bring more than one size and than return the ones I did not use and they say no problem at all so take 2 or 3 sizes to play it safe.

Possibly on the strut but nowhere else. As mentioned above, a strut zinc on your boat would be the "R-2" size, which is 2 7/8" in diameter. Thanks for the help , is there any other zincs on board such as on rudder or hull?
Just checkin' - you are aware of the zinc on the heat exchanger, right? Thanks for the help , is there any other zincs on board such as on rudder or hull?
