Here is my awning after making and refining 2 blue tarp prototypes first.
Used vinyl boat top to make final awning. Paint roller handles are used as support poles at 12 dollars each from Lowes. With handles collapsed and still in one side pockets and awning folded over on it’s self and rolled up the storage size is 4 feet long by 14 inches in diameter.
Had prototype break loose once and slid up the stays till I had a square rigged top sail, added the 4 corner straps to deck to keep from happening again.
When no wind, I've anchored out, put up the awning, Jimmy on the stereo, and take a nap is still better than a good day at home.
