Hi everyone,
I am in search of brackets that attach to the lifeline that would hold a boat hook. A friend has them however they came with their boat. We have looked on several websites and there doesn't seem to be anything at all like this. It is a black round plastic bracket that clamps shut with a foam cushion that holds the hook and a small black clamp that attaches to the lifeline, secured by a small bolt that goes through the lifeline clamp, through a hole on the bracket and out the back end of the lifeline clamp, which is then held in place with a nut. Hopefully this photo will show better than my description.

You could make them yourself using velcro. Just use the pictured design and copy.

Don't believe this is identical to the one Mary's requesting. She's looking for a lifeline mount versus one attached to rails/stantions. Am I correct?
I personally like the lifeline mount. Anyone know where to buy these boathook mounts?

I would just make some with a loop and a toggle lashed to the hook handle.
