Moorings 445 air in the water system

Our water-pump runs continuously and has apparently picked up air. Has anyone else experienced this and how to resolve?

Had the same problem a couple of years ago. There were two issues. We found a small hole in the intake manifold but the main problem was the port water tank. If the tank is empty it will allow air into the system. The key is to always have water in that tank and water in the line for the foot pump in the galley.

Agree! Most likely either a leak in the suction piping or one of your tanks is empty! Hopefully it is an empty tank! Of course there could also be a leak in the water piping someplace but I would assume you looked in the bilge already!
