Sorry no. You may want to reread the descriptions of my problem. Backing in, the boat will want to walk away from the dock and into my neighbor.
I appreciate the thought though.
I actually am having good results with my foreword spring-line setup as I describe in post#5.
I incorporated two micro-blocks into the setup to make retrieving the spring-line really easy.
Again, thanks for the reply,
Joel H.

I still don't really understand your docking position, but, I learned to sail on 27s and they used to just have us walk the boat out of the slip and then push off as you step up on the bow. Will such a slow motion manual cast off work in this situation?

drawings

No currents to speak of it's an inclosed harbor. I don't know how to do drawings and attach them here. I'm on a port slip of a star dock which mean I have another boat on the starboard side of me. The prevaling wind is off my port beam so with any wind and my port prop walk while in reverse my boat wants to pivot on it's keel and the bow swings to starboard and into my neighbor. I have to somehow keep the bow against my dock until I'm almost clear of the slip. I think I know the only answer as I stated before but I wanted to be sure.
If you have a PC just do them in Paint and save them as a jpeg then attach them as a picture.

Typical heavy winds make walking it off the slip a little tricky. Situation solved through application of foreword springline.
Thanks,
Joel H.
