First off, many thanks to all who have taken time to respond to my earlier posts. Your advice is greatly appreciated!! I finally got the custom H19 home late last night (actually very early this am). Here are some pictures of the boat, the fixed keel and the mast base.

I included the mast base because I now have questions about it....My mast is very light thank God because when we took off the fore stay we found out the mast I have does not have a pin to support the base during raising or lowering. The mast became only supported by me. Very awkward. I was able to catch the mast and with the help of a strong friend we managed to muscle it down safely. What I thought was a mast pin was only a bolt to hold the roller main bracket in place.

Well, I'm glad to see that in keeping with the 'custom' nature of the boat, you devised a 'custom' setup for the trailer

Cheers,
Brad

LOL,I was going to request "NO TRAILER COMMENTS" but I figured it would be more fun this way. I had to get the boat out yesterday no questions asked. Believe me, if I had another day or two I would have had done things slightly different. It doesnt look too stable, but she is locked in tight. Only 5 more mile to the lake and a new custom fit trailer.

Congrats Tampa! For what it's worth,I believe I've seen pivot bases for different extrusions. Also, check if the mast you have is the standard for later 19's; you might be able to get the piece for the mast and for the deck.

I can say this is a Hunter hull of a 19 and to my knowledge, none were ever fitted with a keel. Therefore, I am at a loss and will assume this is an aftermarket home made or add on. Did I see two holes in the hull behind that keel in one picture?

As for the mast, it would not appear to be the same length as a water ballast.
Check to see if it looks like a comprable U S Spars mast.

I was wondering if you would post photos of the interior specifcally the hull

I'm with Rick on the HIN. I went back through old stuff on hunters and as far as I can tell there was no H190 as seen on the side. And if this is a H19 water ballast then the PO made a big modification to this boat with the keel.. And the mast is not correct, there should be a foot at the bottom of the mast that mates up to the deck support...
The hull and windows look correct for a H19..
Man am I confused..

Jim, here is the HIN: FLZW72198894. The "88" is correct also, it is not "B8" like conventional Hunter numbering. It is a custom one off that Hunter sold the hull to someone (dealer) and they put all of their favorite hardware on it. The windows are just paint, looks only. I am going to start a new post and put in a ton of pics in it. I just love a good mystery......unless the mystery is my boat. LOL

Don't let being a little different get you down, I'd bet she's less tender and sails better than a stock boat. Putting the ballast down low will keep the boat on it's feet even with the additional lateral resistance.
Probably sail like she's on rails.

She is definitely one of a kind and I cant wait to sail her. I was rather excited about a centerboard water ballast boat so I could beach her a bit easier, but I will still have fun no doubt. I am making a new post now with a bunch of pics so I can share her in all her custom glory.

Tampastockman was in contact with Hunter. I also inquired and was informed that there was a prototype hull sold with no hull number as is with no warranty of any kind.. From there, Hunter has no further information on that boat. Therefore, the keel as I thought was added on with a longer mast as it appears whomever purchased the hull. Thus, the homebuilt Florida hull number. that expalins everything.
