Suggestions for moving boat up coast

Thanks Ed,good suggestion about hiring a delivery Capt. and have gotten the # of a good one. I am checking with other guys about the difficulty of my proposed trip. If not a high degree of difficulty am going to do it with a good (and way more experienced) friend from a sailing club I used to be a member of. Possibly one more person that has expressed an interest in the trip (about the same sailing skill lvl as me but much more "systems knowledgeable"). That's still leaving a spot open that hopefully will be filled before departure. I agree Nice N Easy...4 would be a good number.

Sound like things are going in the right direction. How many times have you been out on the new boat so far and how far have you gone with it?

Lights and all navigational gear working and the motor serviced with new filters and such and starts good? Good anchoring gear that you can get out quick? Had a friend going up the intercostal and his outboard died right at a bridge and he had to get the anchor down fast until he could get going again. Also used his VHF to try and warn others of his problem. He got going pretty quick, but said he was really lucky that he could get an anchor right down.

Keep putting the pieces together and you will have a safe and enjoyable trip,
