Rich,
That's brilliant! Substitute McLube for the WD-40 and I'm good to go!

Except for the fact that Corona is just about the nastiest beer in the world, very good.

Maybe someone should start a thread on good beers around the world...

Corona and a lot of 'mexican' beer is loaded with papain extract (meat tenderizer) to aid in 'clarity' and temperature (haze) stability. It 'tastes good' because its probably dissolving the skin on your tongue.
That would be a 'hanging offense' in Germany which has 'purity laws' for beer.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to remember all the details, so I'm printing out a copy to keep in my chart table!

Ohh Ohh

Beer discussiion
New local brewed just north of the LSU campus . Former students with jobs they didn't like .. Rented a big building with a tin roof (hence the name) and, with some consulting from the university, began brewing excellent stuff.. first available only by keg and just recently in portables. OUTSTANDING !!
(thread hijacking?)

EDIT: Sun not yet over the yardarm .. only reason they are still intact in the 'fridge

Something tells me this thread was meant for hijacking.
One of our dock neighbors has an Anheuser-Busch distributorship so in addition to the AB products and many off the wall microbrews he provides, we get stuff like this........

Effective, simple, easy to remember.

Course if you are extraordinarily salty you would be brewing your on beer while on passage or going the grog route.
You know the British during one of those "era of sailing ships" wars departed from New York with 500 gal of run and a 1000 gal of fresh water, pulled in to the windward islands and tanked up with 500 gal of rum, departed and came to England and tanked up with another 500 gal of rum. Then they returned to New York where they took on a fresh water after dumping 1000 gal of stale water.

Just needs a footnote ... if perimeter options don't work, use credit card, and engage more Corona ...

I have and will brew on board. In fact the size of our fridge was the selling factor in the boat. It holds a 3 gallon keg of homebrew.

I'm truly impressed. I saw the headline of this post and thought, wow, some super-anal type just did a flow chart for a 200 point check that they do any time the boat leaves the dock. What a pleasant surprise, kudos!

I think the butyl tape should be substituted for the duct tape.
Just had to.
