Where Do You Buy Your Anchor Chain?

It's been awhile since I purchased any chain so I'm looking for any leads on where to but high test G4 chain. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You may want to consider shopping around for the chain and then taking the ad to WM for price matching.

Also check out the "gear ads" on this web site. There is sometimes chain for sale there too.

Joe,

I got mine from Fastenal in Annapolis and saved a few $$ on the freight. I picked the chain at the store and placed in my car. I would get the defender price and take it to Fastenal. Just another option......

West Marine will price match so do your homework before going to them. They have an option where they sell a bucket with 65' in it which is plenty for use on the bay. Have them deliver to the store and save on shipping. If you get up to Delaware work with the store in Bear on RT40 and save on sales tax too. While you can find better prices on the web with industrial suppliers the price of freight outweighs the $ per foot savings.

How much do you need?

I have about 34 feet of brand new never used 5/16" G4 Hi Test and work in the Annapolis area. Also have about 20 feet of 5/16" G4 Hi Test.
