Clean polish black toe rail

maybe longer but if you just wipe it once and a while it is a lot easyer to maintain than the first cleaning...i would love to re anodize mine but the parts are 14 ft long and i cant find a tank locally that will handle it...i am also cleaning my mast with it as well ...have thought about spraying a urathan clear coat on but am afraid it will just scratch over time and i would rather just let it age again naturally and maybe clean it when i haul out each time....as you know there is no end to taking care of a boat....

The stains on my dark brown/black toe rail are primarily calcium looking deposits (maybe conversion of the pure Al into an oxidized aluminum material?) and also some corrosion radiating out around the SS toe rail bolt holes. Perhaps some sort of acid wash might dissolve the deposits. Sort of like using CLR to break up lime and rust around the home plumbing. But I have been concerned about damaging the toe rail's anodized surface which would expose even more area to the elements. So I haven't been too inclined to experiment.
It never ceases to amaze me how after trying 39 other products the next one always works the best
I buy it in 1 gallon cans and use a refillable pump sprayer.
