Rudder play

I sail a 285 first. I noticed more play in the rudder when hauled this fall
Has anyone changed the lower bronze pydane bushing. Do you need to
take the rudder totally out or can you just lower it partilly. Any help would
be appreciated.

Tanks Jack. I have already answerd most of my ? and came up with more. The 235 Site looks good.
