After a relaxing four-month break back in Vancouver while winter happened in southern Chile, we have returned to Sequitur in Puerto Montt. We are now preparing her for a two or three months meander down through the Patagonian channels to Tierra del Fuego, where we intend turning left and heading toward Cape Town. Sources of supplies are extremely sparse from here southward, so we're stocking-up here for four months.

Our latest blog post is more related to things back home and to family, than it is with boating; however, our regular boating posts will resume very shortly as we get fully into cruising again.

Great to have you back Michael. You are living my, and a lot of others, dream. I had similar plans. Instead I have been locked ashore for personal reasons. So your blog is actively followed. However, being old, I need to be reminded. That reminder comes in the form of you posting regularly. Fair winds to you, be safe.

Good catch "water..". Never noticed the missing '1'. I thought you could cut that and paste it in Google Earth. And you can if it is '41' instead of just '4'. Now it is.

Interesting. Those co-ordinates came off a twelve year old sweatshirt that I just happen to be wearing. I just tried it and the arrow on Google Earth is pointing to the precise location where my boat sits this minute, behind the rack shed on the hard.

Thanks for the kind words, Ed. I'll try to remember to post a reminder here from time to time.

Michael, I check in fairly often as I've enjoyed your journey. Sounds like quite the haul getting everything down to the boat this time. Thanks for checking in here.

Scott; It was quite a juggle packing the checked baggage, and then bluffing way-overweight carry-on bags onto two fully-booked flights. We were relieved when all 200+ kilos made glitch-free through Chilean Customs.
