Some of these trailers have straight cross members like mine and some have curved cross members. Of course if you buy a trailer with curved cross members, the keel will sit lower on the keel board and the extension brackets that hold your cloth bunks can be set a little lower. This is just something you may want to take into consideration when choosing a trailer. Also, you may want to get a trailer that will take a longer boat than yours so that you could get away without having to install an extension tongue to it for getting the trailer in deeper water without swamping the tow vehicle. The trailer doesn't have to be a sailboat trailer. The only difference is the extension brackets, and the keel board. Just a few things to ponder.
