Well I got a weekend off. First one since late July. We had plans to head to the lake. But.... they are calling for zero mph wind out of the N NW for the entire weekend. Guess I'll dip into the honey-do pot.

I have the same problem myself in the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. When I was ready to go out, NOAA said winds were calm. Grrrr!

that never stops us...we enjoy the calm water just to relax and snack as well..mind you thats just when we are out for a moderate day and the wind is elusive..need the wind for the longer days and overnighters...

NOAA can't get anything right anyway! Just go! Iron Genny if you've got them. "Sail" until beer-thirty, then drop anchor and bed settle in for the night.

Our problem the last four days has been too much wind (for me anyway) ... 50 mph gale force winds!
