My system has a hot water tank, galley and head sinks, plus a shower. The
pump "pulses" every 30 to 45 seconds. I have checked for leaks and air
in the system to no avail. Would installing a accumulator tank help?
Thanks
I had the same "pulse" problem with my system and the pump finaly was just running all the time, so I replaced the pump. It was letting the pressure back through the pump. With new pump no more problem. If your pump is the issue then a accumulator tank will only extend the period between pulses. Best of luck.
This happens every other year on my pump. The "mushroom" valves develop crystals from the chlorine we put in the tanks. Just take the pump head apart and clean it and you will be fine.
Bill,
Will need to take the old pump apart and see if it was just crystals on mine. Would make sense because it got really bad right after I treated with chlorine. Should have asked!!
