When I sold my Mac 26X last month, I had a brand new 150% Doyle RF sail in a sail bag that did not go with the boat. That was part of the price hagling. So I now still own this brand new sail. Is this something I should sell or could I one day install it on my H260? The dimentions are... luff 24'9" and foot 16'6". I can't seem to figure out if it will fit on my Hunter. What other info do I need to know that can tell me if this will work?

The sail has this written in pen on the 'Doyle' sticker:
M26M RF Genoa 2006.01:confused:

Anybody know what that means? I called Doyle a couple weeks ago and they have not been helpful.

Did I mention that I leave next Saturday to pick up my H260!!!!:)

The H260 has an I = 29' 2.5" and a J = 9' 5.5". Since it is a fractional rig with a small jib, the luff and foot will be very close to these dimensions.

The markings indicate the boat model, sail type, and year/month the sail was made.

I would not recommend using that large of a head sail on the H260. You are better off selling it to a Mac owner.

150% Genoa

We use a similar sized large Genoa on our 2002 Hunter 270 & are very pleased with it. We have the heavy wing keel which does help to handle the large sail. How much are you thinking of asking for this Genoa ???

I had a roller furler for my Mac 25 and put it on my H-260, although the sail didn't transfer over. perhaps you can still use the rolling furler and sell the sail?
