The wife and i gave the old 1974 gal some new life by removing the old shag carpet from everywhere; she is a pleasure to sleep in now on our overnighters, actually our last trip was 2 nights out...

The wood may be beaded tongue and groove 1x6 pine with ash trim. Very hard to tell about the trim. Lovely job though.

thanx guys...the 1x6 tongue and groove is light cedar with the shelve thin maple plywood and the edging is oak with the cargo bins/table being a honey pine arborite.
We are not carpenters at all, just passionate..lol...my wife was very picky and did a majority of the detailing and she worked relentlessly on having the arborite fit and smoothed.Glued the arborite down with PL Premium.
The fabric used on the cushions and sides is upholstry velvet fabric the wife got a steal on for 2 dollars a yard..very nice wave pattern in it. We brightened up the interior painting with interlux two part epoxy.
thanx again for enjoying

Great job. I compliment anyone who can do craftsmanlike work, especially since there are no square corners. What kind of sewing machine did you use for the cushions... Shag carpet is like totally 70's. Did you burn your John Travolta white disco suit and platform deck shoes? :D Beautiful job. Fair Winds and Full Sails...

Looks great! It shows the potential that I have in my old 21 clipper. Thanks,

the right side cupboard we cut back four inches to give abit more room from the keel housing similar to the left side..if yours is exactely the same as mine you know what a pain the less room on the right side often is so the modification is real nice.
As well i removed all the manual keel winch and plugged the handle access and installed a 2000 lb electric winch which bolts the same as the manual ones, the battery lasts me all season going up and down when i need to.

Thanks for the compliments guys...
