Beneteau 361 fuel consumption

I just took a shakedown cruise to prepare for a longer voyage and got some good data on my fuel consumption that I am posting here in hopes that it helps others.

Givens: B361, Maxprop, fairly clean bottom, Yanmar 3GMF

Cruising speed: 6.5 knots (7.5 mph) @ 2,600 rpm

Fuel consumption: .625 gallons/hour

Distance: 12 statute miles per gallon

Range: 240 statute miles per tank (20 gallons)

Beneteau 331 fuel consumption.
Finally put some fuel (at a fuel dock) in my B331 last week:
B331 shoal draft; original prop (2 blade); 3GM30F-e
6 gals / 16.6 hrs
Cruising speed: 5 knots @ 2,500 rpm (average)
Fuel consumption: .361 gallons/hour
Max Range: (appox) 248 statute miles per tank (18 gallons)

I believe my boat can achieve similar results, though I am sure the Maxprop is better than the original 2-blade fixed propeller. I made a 520miles journey last year (2 legs of 260nm) and more or less measured the following:
Engine: Volvo Penta MD2030D 29hp
Propeller: 2-blade fixed 16X11
Cruising speed at 2400-2500rpm: 6.2-6.3 knots (flat sea, clean hull, clean propeller)
Fuel consumption: 2.5lt/hr (I think this is 0.660 US gallons per hour)
Distance / range will be just a mathematical estimate because in general I use the sails as often as possible in combination with the engine in these sort of very long passages (with 2 kids on board I just want to get to destination as quickly as possible!)
