I need to calibrate my wind direction meter with my wind vane. I have a 1999 Hunter 310 all the electronics say ST 30 however the manual I downloaded off the internet shows the display unit to have 4 buttons. Mine only has two a True/apparent button and an up or down button.

I can't figure out the sequence I need to go through to line everything up....I think it is two 360 circles but it is also hitting some button sequence which I have been unable to figure out.

Any advice?

Mind your "+"es. You need to get the right manual. I think you need either a ST30+ or the ST60. If the picture is not correct then you have the wrong manual

also there is calibration and then there is alignment.
Calibration just insures that the entire circle is uniformly devided up into small segments
alignment insurs that the way the needle points is in fact the wind direction.
These are two compleatly different adjustment. I know you have to enter set up mode to calibrate but you can change the alignment while the instriment is working.
Typicaly you hold down the left most button for 3 seconds (till it beeps) to enter setup mode.
