Blue water bottom paint.

Friend bought older S 2 ,has Blue water bottom paint {ablative],Previous owner gave him 2 gal of it with boat.Any pros cons.of this paint?Bottom looks good,except a few areas seem to be flaking off.

I've used it & had no complaints tho I thought it to be slightly softer than the Petit Ultima product I currently use.
